For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…  Think about it!  How would it feel to give your only son as a trade for the lives of people who don’t even know you or care about you.  To save their lives when they couldn’t care less.

God gave his only son for us, to save us from eternal separation from Him.  He wants us to accept Him and believe in Him.  He loves us so much that He doesn’t want to be away from us.

In this country, we have pretty much everything we need or want.  Because of that, we don’t feel that we need a god and why make your life more complicated by believing in someone you can’t even see in the first place.  How can you believe in something you can’t see?  This is a very hard question to answer.  But I can tell you that I have never found so much peace, and joy, and love anywhere in my life as I have found in God.  It’s not just corny talk, it’s real.

Our people used to believe in God.  That was back when we needed Him.  We were poor hardworking people and we needed blessings.  He gave them.  But He expected something from us.  He expected us to tell our children about Him, and that’s where we let Him down.  Our generation stopped taking our children to church.  We were so interested in ourselves, that we didn’t care about the important stuff, like where we and our children would spend eternity.  You see, our spirit never dies, but where does it go after our body dies?  We are not going to just be pushing up daisys.  Our spirit will go to heaven or hell.  Heaven is being in the presence of God forever, with joy and health, and peace.  Hell is being separated from God forever, with pain and suffering.

Many people just don’t want to think about this kind of stuff right now.  They are young and into their lives and having fun, or working and trying to raise a family.  People are too busy for ‘ God talk’.  But please stop and think about it.  Think about what you really believe.  Don’t wait until it is too late to decide.  God doesn’t want to take away your enjoyment in life.  He wants to give you joy that will never end.

This is my statment to you:  If God doesn’t exist, than no harm has been done by us being nice to each other, and we Christians have had a wonderful life believing.  But if God does exist, what then?  It says in the Bible that He will only wait so long.
